Beauty Packaging magazine has once again planned an exciting industry panel for this year’s edition of Luxe Pack New York, scheduled for May 19-20 at the Altman Building and Metropolitan Pavilion at 135 West 18th Street, NY, NY. The panel, which will be held on May 19 at 4pm, is titled “Sustainable Packaging: Gearing Up for a Perfect Storm in the Beauty Industry,” and complements the feature story on sustainable packaging in this month’s issue (see p.16). Esteemed speakers will be:  John Delfausse, vice president global package development and chief environmental officer, Estée Lauder Corporate Packaging, member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition—and member of Beauty Packaging’s Board of Advisors; Sandra Krasovec, associate professor in the Packaging Design Department, School of Art & Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, and who serves on the Ad Hoc Faculty Senate Committee on Sustainability and President’s Council on Sustainability; and Silvia Springolo, Client Service Officer for Grail Research, with the latest on consumers’ green buying behavior and what it means for consumer product companies.
